I remembered reading about that pillow where couples would be able to hear each other’s heartbeats, so I was thinking about something of that equivalent in the far future, I guess? It’s astral-projecting by way of technology.

Someone wanted me to paint them Totoro for their birthday, so I did. I’ve never seen a ghibli film, and the kanji was hastily copied from a volume of devilman laying around my room.

A page from Peplum, by Blutch. Tom Hart let me peruse his copy while I was at SVA, and it pretty much blew me away. The thick, album format of the book is really great/enhances the art.
